Week two of school ended with all the fun and excitement of week one. Tori has now found a steady pace in math. It's no longer easy breezy, but she still catches on rather quickly. Hope is grasping things way better than last year and even though we are redoing many things I am very pleased with her progress. Hope also took her first exam in English and did quite well. We finished our "Boxcar Children" and are now on to Mary Pope Osbornes "Magic Tree House" series. And as of yet, our terrarium has no sprouts.
We ended our week with a Brownwood Lions Football game last night. Would you believe they sold out? We lost. Blast those Pirates! They were just too fast! This morning we took the girls to Home Depot where they joined the kids workshop activity and built a "Goal Post" for paper football. That was quite exciting.
It was a great second week, we are really enjoying ourselves thus far. I have some DVD's on the way to complement our creation theme. After that we are onto Dinosaurs. Keep posted for the actual "dino dig" and a trip to see some dinosaur fossil footprints with a human foot print inside, and lots more!
