Generally, we don't celebrate Valentine's day here. However, this year the girls were invited to a small party at Miss Sarah's house. They traded valentine cards, ate sweets, made some paper flowers, and spent the afternoon playing. I am so grateful to have someone to get together with!
When we came home, there was a package waiting for us on the porch. Turned out Grandpa and Grandma Barone sent each of them a cuddly, talking, teddy bear.
They also were surprised with cards from their friends in Indiana; Miss Faith and Miss Esther.
I'd say, for not celebrating the day, they made out like bandits. It made for a happier Monday anyway.
