This was Hope's first recital this year. She played for all the teachers, students, parents, and others who also came to the Saturday Class. After each student had a chance to play their instrument or sing, they had a reading of the Opera "The Magic Flute". The teachers who read also sang out the parts. It was very well done.Later they broke into age groups for an additional opera. Hope's group had "Hansel and Gretel".
Hope will be finished with her lessons at Howard Payne in December with another Christmas Recital. She's already been practicing several Christmas Hymns and songs. I think she may play "O Come All Ye Faithful". She seems to be learning her notes quickly and practices from 15 - 25 minutes once to twice a day.
Tori is excited to be joining Hope soon. We will be looking for a new instructor for both girls, when move.
